When Water Feels Like Concrete

by Colin R. on Jul.03, 2009, under Misc.

Its called waterskiing. Getting hauled behind a boat at 20-25 mph is all fun and games until you get pulled down face first, water can get really hard really quick.

What’s the point of this?  GoFor2 is going on vacation over the 4th of July weekend, so you won’t be seeing any new articles for the next 2-3 days (Ah the perils of having only one writer).

Don’t leave me forever though (I’ll miss you) – I’ll be back in a couple and I’m sure I’ll be writing with a vengeance. Happy 4th!

I can’t even put this into words, and I really hope this kid isn’t pulling a Sosa, but the video sure looks kosher. If it is legit, I hope the kid keeps practicing…Then maybe he can join Taylor Griffin with the Globetrotters someday.

Why ANOTHER sports blog?

by Colin R. on Jun.18, 2009, under Misc.

Because I need something to do. And, let’s face it, you want to hear me complain endlessly about:

Football, basketball, futbol, baseball, hockey, tennis, golf, track and field, curling (maybe, who knows), athletes, owners, referees, umpires, contracts, trade deadlines, pass interference, free throws, video replay, red cards, blue lines, and everything else that you only kind of care about.

So I’m going to bring, as Pierre de Coubertin (He founded the international olympic committe, but you knew that) once said,

All Sports for All People.”
